This includes organic cotton, raw linen, and hemp — certified by both the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) and the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). Sustainability lives in every part of our process. We design with longevity in mind, donate excess inventory to causes like Housing Works NY, repurpose leftover fabric scraps, and ship every order in 100% recyclable packaging.

Growing up in Israel, Batia was surrounded by two remarkably talented grandmothers who had travelled from Europe after WWII. One was a gifted seamstress and embroiderer. The other restored, knitted, and designed clothing with equal devotion. Watching them ignited something in Batia that never left her.

Her world then expanded when a family from Venice moved into her neighborhood. Their friendship gave Batia a deep appreciation for the Italian way of life — where beauty is quiet, intentional, and woven into the everyday.
